Cycles Connection Questions

Part 1

1. How does a metamorphic rock become a sedimentary rock?

Metamorphic rock turns into sedimentary throughout the processes called weathering and erosion. Weathering breaks down the metamorphic rick into sediments and then erosion moves sediments to water (it also can be moved by run off) and than compaction  creates sedimentary rock.

2. How does Magma change into Metamorphic rock?

Magma from the volcano change to metamorphic rock throughout crystallization. Crystallization is when magma cools down, it turns into Igneous rock. Than, heat and pressure turns it into metamorphic rock.

Carbon Cycle

3. How does a consumer become fossil fuel?

When a consumer die, the decomposer  decompose flesh part of organism . The remaining hard things (bones) go down underground to be mixed with water and plant in order to become a fossil fuel which happens in million years. After the process finish, it become fossil fuel.

4. How can a fossil fuel be used in photosynthesis?

The fossil fuels are used as an source of energy, the factories uses fossil fuel to get running. At the same time they produce gas called CO2. Then the producers take that gas and use it in process called Photosynthesis.

Water Cycle

5. How does lake water turn into clouds?

When the sun heat the water or plants it makes evaporation and transpiration. That release gas called Water vapor. This gas goes to the atmosphere and it start to get closer to each other and create clouds this called condensation.

6. How can a cloud turn into groundwater?

As the clouds get bigger, it will rain or snow if the weather is cold. The rain running down the mountain or hill called the run off. Than the runoff will infiltration which means water goes into the soil and create groundwater.

What did you enjoy most abut this project and why?
I liked creating a moving piece and the poster because we had fun. Also we come to an agreement quickly.

What was most challenging for you during this project and why?
The most challenging part was when I had to draw a poster and I took poster home. But in my way to home, the poster got folded so it looked ugly, I had revise it again and again.

What new skill you learned from doing this project?
I learned to use a tripot which I couldn't use before

Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work?
I could improve my video by adding more vocabulary words. I aslo can take a maintained photos to the video will look better.

Carbon Cycle

Carbon enters the atmosphere as carbon dioxide from breathing and burning. Carbon dioxide is absorbed by producers  to make oxygen in photosynthesis . Animals feed on the plants. Thus passing the carbon compounds along the food chain. Most of the carbon these animals consume however is exhaled as carbon dioxideThis is through the process of respiration. The animals and plants then eventually die. The dead organisms (dead animals and plants) are eaten by decomposer in the ground. The carbon that was in their bodies is then returned to the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. The decomposed plants and animals may then be available as fossil fuel. Those fossil fuels are burned in factories and releases carbon dioxide.

How does sleep effect your learning?

Sleep is very important to your brain. It's like a nutrient for your brain. While you sleep, your brain goes overs and practices every thing you had learned throwout the day.

How much sleep do you get each night? Do you think this is enough? Do you feel tired in the morning?

I get 9 hours of sleep every day. Sometimes on weekends, I might take more than 11 hours of sleep. I think that it is not enough for me. I sleep for 9 hours on weekdays and I still feel tired every morning.

Will you change what you do after reading about sleep and learning? Why or why not?

After reading this documents about sleep and learning, I will try to sleep earlier every day so that I can enough sleep. This will help me learn more. This is important because this is important step of my career.

Dangerous Energy Drinks

In my opinion, energy drinks are way of making money. Energy drinks has chemicals that can threaten people's health. Manufacturer that produces energy drinks puts what ever they in that energy drinks. The government will not control those chemicals. Energy drinks has caffeine, and it is over an average.
